Ricky Gervais is shedding the fat

Pictures in The Sun today show Ricky Gervais looking healthier and fitter than ever.

But we at Papture always remember Ricky as a ‘pug nose, little fat man’ (as David Bowie once said).

So with Ricky shedding the fat and losing a few pounds, is he going to take it all the way and do a Johnny Vegas, who lost over 4 stone?

Either way Ricky, we are looking forward to your new movie, Cemetery Junction which is out on the 14th April.

Spiralling Sculpture to be erected in London

This is the spiralling sculpture that will be erected as the monument to mark the London 2012 Olympic Games.

It was designed by the Turner-prize winning artist Anish Kapoor. Standing at 115m tall, the sculpture will be called, ‘ArcelorMittal Orbit’.

“I am deeply honoured to be invited to undertake this challenging commission,” Kapoor said.

“I am particularly attracted to it because of the opportunity to involve members of the public in a particularly close and personal way. It is the commission of a lifetime.”

The model looks amazing and I think this will be fantastic for London.

But I know there will be a lot of you unsure about this piece!

Pamela Anderson was as titillating as ever

Pamela Anderson didn’t wow the country last night, as she ended up in the bottom 2 of Dancing With The Stars.

She was saved by the Judges which means you will get to see her again next week.

Twilight writer gives new book away for FREE

Stephanie Meyer, the author of Twilight, has announced that she is to ‘give away’ her new book, ‘The short Second Life of Bree Tanner’.

Once the real copy is out in shops (which is for sale), she will be putting the same book online for free as a gift to all of her fans:

“You all have bought a ton of my books, and I wanted to give you this story as a gift,”

“I’d always considered The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner as something for the fans. They have been so supportive of all things Twilight.”

The success of Twilight has made the 36 year old millions of dollars and the success of the movies staring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has only helped books fly off the shelves.

Arlene Philips says farewell to Strictly (again)

The Strictly Come Dancing 2010 Tour has come to an end.

Thousands of people have watched the hit TV show live in theatres up and down the country.

Arlene Philips, who was one of the judges on the live show, posted this photo saying:

“a sad farewell to Strictly”

Is that a farewell to the Live Shows? Maybe Arlene won’t be on the next tour, but do not fret.

Arlene made her debut as a panelist on ITV’s Loose Women.

We look forward to seeing her there again soon.
