Cheryl Cole is seriously ill, but where are her celebrity friends?

Although Cheryl Cole came out of intensive care on Friday, she is still very sick as she battles the deadly disease, malaria.

Reports have suggested that the Girls Aloud star has fluid on the lungs, and is falling in and out of consciousness.

Although Simon Cowell and the X-Factor team have expressed their wishes that Cheryl returns to her healthy self as quickly as possible, we are yet to hear from any of her other celebrity friends.

Where are the get well wishes from Will.i.am, or more importantly from the rest of her Girls Aloud band mates?

Nadine’s half-hearted message was almost insulting: “Oh noo. You guys just told me about Cheryl I have been so paranoid about malaria my grandad had it. Let’s say a wee prayer all is ok. Xx“

Well at least her fans are rallying around her and hope she makes a speedy recovery…

BREAKING NEWS: Cheryl Cole is out of intensive care

Cheryl Cole has finally been taken out of intensive care following her contraction of the deadly disease, malaria.

She has recovered enough to be moved out of UCLH and transferred to a private clinic.

Hopefully this is the start of a full recovery.

We wish Cheryl all the best.

The socially inept rock loving teenage boys are coming back!

Mike Judge, the creator and main voice, is supposedly working on 30 new episodes.

It is not yet known when the show will return to our screens and if it will take the same format as the 90′s.

Justin Bieber gets pranked, TWICE!

Justin Bieber’s had an unlucky week. First he was the subject of a YouTube scam. Abusive comments appeared beneath his videos and some suggested that the singer was dead.

He took to his Twitter account to answer some “crazy rumors”:

“one…Im not dead. I had to check on this one…but it turns out Im alive”

“two…my mom is a moral woman…let’s just leave that one for what it is…because that rumor just grossed and wierded me out…”

“3…I have not joined the Illuminati or any other cult. Im a christian and I pray before every show and am thankful for every blessing”

“4- Im not Peter Pan…Im growing up and my voice will change but no worries Jan Smith is the greatest vocal coach ever…stronger than ever!”

“6- I am not 10 feet tall and I dont shoot fire balls from my arse….that was BraveHeart”

“7 – yes we did skip 5….why??? I dont know….5 was chillin and didnt want to join the fun”

“8 – @asherroth is not my real big bro…he is just the big bro in friendship…we have Bromance. haha”

“9 – Im home schooled and not going to a high school next year in every city we have visited… although i would like to sit next to all u girls in math class ”

“and 10 – No CHUCK NORRIS is not my real father...although he did birth to Hercules”

As if this wasn’t enough, Justin has asked fans to suggest on his ‘My World Tour’ website page where he should tour next; bulletin board 4Chan led a campaign to get North Korea to win with just over half a million votes being cast.

Why haven’t Justin’s 3.5m Twitter followers come to his rescue???

PETA name their Sexiest Vegetarian for 2010

Star of hit US drama House, Olivia Wilde has been named the Sexiest Vegetarian 2010 by PETA.

Wilde said:

“I am really honored, and very inspired to continue living the vegan lifestyle that has been so good to my body, my animal friends, and the world we live in.”

“Beyond my desire to boycott the torture factories, I am also way happier when I eat a plant based diet, and I feel about a thousand times more energetic.”

Did Letterman go too far with his Larry King Top Ten?

Following Larry King’s departure from CNN, David Letterman decided to suggest reasons for his retirement in the nightly Top Ten segment of the Late Show.

They included reasons such as “High definition format scared children and the elderly” and “needs time to plan his divorce“.

It has been suggested that this time Letterman has gone too far.

Larry King has responded to reports that Piers Morgan may take over his slot saying “I don’t know Piers Morgan, I’ve never seen him work… but I hear he’s very good.”

Cheers for the past 13 years: Kelsey Grammer divorces wife

Kelsey Grammer announced that he was divorcing his third wife of 13 years on Twitter.

The star of Frasier and Cheers tweeted:

“Had some bad news to deal with today. I am hoping that people will be respectful of our privacy during the divorce process. We have issued a statement asking that our children be respected as well. I would like to add that I know people will be tempted to say some mean things. I realize that it is human nature but I ask that you be particularly sensitive to the feelings of my wife. She has been a terrific partner for many years and should not be treated with any disrespect at this time. Things fell apart between us. That is all. She is still the mother of my children and any disparagement of her will only hurt the children. Camille did not want this but has made a very difficult decision and I respect her for it. I appreciate your kindness for all parties in this matter. Especially for her and the children.“

He then asked his followers to “be kind and mindful of the fact that she is the mother of my children“.

Camille filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” and is seeking primary custody of their daughter Mason (8) and son Jude (5).

Grammer is currently appearing on Broadway in La Cage aux Folles.

Lady Gaga’s world domination continues…

It is not unusual for parents to name their newborns after celebrities (or celebrities’ children), however it may come as a surprise that father Ian Clark decided to name his child after Lady Gaga.

The father of four asked his older children to suggest names for their new sister. His four-year old stepdaughter Maddy suggested Lady Gaga after her favourite pop star.

Surprisingly Ian agreed and named his daughter Meggie Maisie Lady Gaga!

To be honest Lady Gaga is a much better name than Meggie Maisie!

Dev Patel is not ready for marriage

Dev Patel and Freida Pinto have been dating for quite a few years, and in Celebrity Land an engagement is therefore expected.

As the pressure mounts for Patel to propose to his beautiful girlfriend, the Slumdog Millionaire star has hit back saying he is far too young.

“It’s a bit tricky. I don’t know what to tell everyone because it’s my private thing.“

“But it’s part and parcel of the industry so you just learn to get over the awkwardness and just play with it.”

At just 20 years old, I think Dev has a little while before he needs to pop the question!
