Lily Allen admits to loving Cheryl Cole

Week after week we hear about the people who get on Lily Allen’s nerves.

Lily Allen has taken to her Twitter to tell the world that actually, contrary to newspaper reports, she loves Cheryl Cole.

“I love Cheryl . Don’t believe what you read the papers.”

Lily has previously been known for slamming, Courtney Love, Simon Cowell, David Cameron just to name a few.

But like the rest of us, she is indeed Team Cheryl!

Lily Allen cancels performance in Spain and spends the afternoon with Noel Edmonds

Lily Allen spent the day yesterday in her Marylebone home watching ‘Deal or No Deal’ with her boyfriend, which is quite different to how her weekend was supposed to pan out.

Lily Allen was scheduled to perform at Spain’s Benicassim festival, but a note from her Doctor allowed her to miss the festival ‘due to illness’.

No further mention of what was wrong with Lily has been said, but she chose not to leave her home yesterday and spent the afternoon snuggling with the ‘BF’ on the couch.

Let’s not forget Lily was supposed to have retired from her pop career, I don’t know whether she wants to or not?I’m sure we will see her on stage again soon…

Like a Lamb to the slaughter

George Lamb has quit BBC 6 Music after pressure from a facebook group calling for him to be sacked.

An online petition saying that he was not right for the station, had been wanting him to leave for several months.

Lamb had been at the station for over three years and was named Rising Star at the Sony Radio Awards in 2008.

A BBC statement said:

“6 Music would like to thank both George and Marc [co-host] for their commitment to the network over the past three years.”

“We will miss their banter, tunes and air horns and wish them well in their future endeavours.”

George is the son of Larry Lamb and Lily Allen’s former manager.

Lamb will be hosting the final series of Big Brother’s Little Brother this Summer.

Lily Allen breaks down in tears as she wins three Ivor Novello

Ivor Novello’s have just taken place in London.

The big winner of the award ceremony is Lily Allen, who took home three awards.

Most Performed Work and Best Song Musically and Lyrically both for The Fear, she also won songwriter of the year.

Joined by her little sister, Lily was in absolute floods of tears when she picked up the award:

“Thank you, I’m trying so hard to hold it together… This song is so much about feeling so lost… it has made me feel quite found all of a sudden. I still just kind of think my songs are like nursery rhymes – little ditties. We’ll see what happens.”

Well done Lily!

Lily Allen puts off retirement, again!

Lily Allen has announced that she is to support Muse at their Wembley gigs this September.

This means that her music career retirement is not exactly happening.

I for one think that’s a good thing! But it seems odd that Lily doesn’t know what she wants to do with her career.

Her final gig was supposed to be supporting Jay-Z at the Wireless festival.

However she is now also going to be at the Big Chill and supporting Muse.

Lily said:

“I’m just not making another album for a while. I’m moving on to pastures new so record sales and stuff aren’t really bothering me right now.”

“I just don’t really want to go on the road for another three years.”

So there you have it, I think she means that her music career is a bit like pick and mix.

A bit of Wireless, some Muse, no touring or writing, just the good stuff???

Lily Allen and Hugh Grant let the tears flow as their beloved Fulham FC lose in the final

Lily Allen and Hugh Grant may be celebrities but they are also dedicated to traveling the world to see their beloved Fulham football club play in the final of the Europa League.

However, after Fulham were knocked out in the dying minutes of extra time last night in Hamburg to Athletico Madrid, the tears began to flow.

Lily was already in a bad mood this week as a devoted Labour supporter, so when Fulham lost last night it really pushed her over the edge.

She was nervous pre-game, tweeting:

“Oh my god. On my way to the ground. I’m too nervous . Arrrrrggghh !”

Unfortunately it was no fairytale ending for the West London club.

Sorry Hugh and Lily, and everyone else.

“Just voted for the first time. Pumped.”

Shhhhh it’s a quiet Lily Allen Birthday, no falling out of nightclubs

Lily Allen was hoping for a quiet birthday celebration on Sunday as she ventured out to Oxfordshire’s ‘Sir Charles Napier’ restaurant.

But being a celebrity it wasn’t long before she was recognized by another chef who was dining out, Raymond Blanc.

Blanc ‘paptured’ Allen celebrating her birthday wearing celebratory hat:

This birthday makes quite a change to falling out of Bungalow 8 on previous years!

Lily Allen to star in reality fashion TV show

She has been talking about ending her music career for the past year, and it seems that when she supports Jay-Z at the Wireless Festival, Lily Allen will be performing for the last time (at least for the time being).

Lily intends to venture further into the fashion world, and Channel 4 will be watching her all the way.

Channel 4 have announced that they will be documenting Lily’s new career in fashion as she bids to go from pop-star to fashion guru.

No name or date has been given to the new show, so we are still waiting with baited breath, but I’m sure we will see Lily take her
naughty diva-style behavior to the fashion world.

Not only will they fit together perfectly, but that’s exactly what we want to see!
