Forget Kate Moss and heroin chic, Cheryl Cole is bringing you Malaria Chic

Life really does imitate art. And nobody does it better than Cheryl. When it all began there was big hair, big clothes, big discussions about that seemingly useless but nevertheless cherished tattoo, big shoes, big friends and most of all, big love. But a year on the popularity was waning and so was the love-rat footballer husband. Down went the hair extensions (surely the samson-esque superhuman strength of all self-respecting wags?), down came the husband, down came the extravagant couture spectacle and born in its place, a new, pared down, Cheryl. Just a bit more edgy, just a bit more cool and just that bit more Tweedy.

Madonna and Gaga are not the only masters of the revolution. For Cheryl- the nation’s treasure, the x-factor sweetheart (surely no cliche too big) there are still more layers to shed. We should not underestimate the serious nature of Malaria, Cheryl’s first foray into the wide world of Surrey following weeks of recovery has revealed the best Cheryl yet.

It’s painful to admit that there are times when we don’t want to see fashion, when high fashion is crude and inappropriate and just missing the point. Make-up free in her unflattering baggy jeans, sensible flip flops and what can only be described as thermal vests best saved for a chilly night on the ski slopes, we see the true Cheryl- stunning… but fragile, vulnerable and just a little bit normal. Probably how most of us look when we’ve just spent the night clutching the toilet bowl- perhaps minus the strikingly gorgeous cheekbones. And yet, in her least glamorous guise is where her stratospheric popularity will begin again. The nineties had heroine chic with Kate Moss. We now have malaria chic with our very own Cheryl.

Britney Spears episode for Glee is given the go-ahead

We’ve had the Madonna episode, the Lady Gaga episode and now Glee has confirmed that the 2nd series will contain a Britney Spears episode.

It is still unknown whether the pop star will also appear in episode.

She may only 13years old, but Madonna’s daughter Lourdes is about to launch her first fashion line, aptly named ‘Material Girl’.

The collection has been co-designed by Madonna and Lourdes and it comes as no surprise that the collection has taken a lot of inspiration from the 1980′s.

Lourdes has also started a fashion blog to help promote the new collection.

The blog has proved to be so popular that it has crashed the Material Girl website! But don’t worry Papture can fill you in:

Forbes release their Hollywood top 100 list, but who managed to take the coveted top spot?

The UK may have the Sunday Times Rich List, but the US have the Forbes top 100 Power List.

The list of celebrities is compiled based on earnings and global exposure and is the list every celebrity wishes to get on.

This year Oprah regains her position at top of the list, pushing Angelina Jolie off the top spot and into 18th place. Lady Gaga is the highest newcomer, making her way not only into the top 10, but the top 5. Another newcomer in the list is Twilight heartthrob, Robert Pattinson; he reached number 50.

Surprisingly Simon Cowell was just shy of the top 10, with $80m. Maybe 2010/2011 will be his year as he launches the American X-Factor.

Kylie, stop horsing around with Kabbalah!

When this photo came up on my screen, my first thought was ‘since when was Kylie and SJP so close?’

But with closer inspection this is the horse that features in Kylie’s recent video ‘All The Lovers’.

Yesterday Kylie was the latest celebrity to be seen wearing a Kabbalah red bracelet, similar to Madonna and Gwyneth.

I guess the horse is also being used to pull the Kabbalah band wagon that Kylie seems to have jumped on!

Miley Cyrus goes all lesbo in London

Last night’s Britain’s Got Talent saw a live performance from Miley Cyrus.

Miley, 17, whilst performing ‘Can’t Be Tamed‘ simulated a lesbian kiss live on the show which got everyone cheering.

Following in the footsteps of Madonna and Britney, Miley is going to get tongues wagging with this stunt.

Simon Cowell very much enjoyed the show!

It wasn’t very graphic, but at just 17 Miley is proving that she cannot indeed be tamed.

Madonna takes adopted son David back to Africa

Madonna has gone back to Milawi with adopted son David so that he could spend time in his place of birth.

Traveling with daughter Lourdes, they received a riotous applause as they returned to the orphanage where they first met David.

They arrived in Malawi on Monday and leave on Friday, Madonna will visit the 6 orphanages and the girls school she helped to set up.

As of yet there are no reports that she will be leaving with any more children!

We are yet to hear from anyone at James Bond, but we can cross our fingers and hope (unless you are handcuffed to your bed after a wild night with said pop star)!

Jesus asks Madonna why this night is different from all other nights?

Last night Madonna celebrated Passover at the Kabbalah centre in London.

She turned up with her children Lourdes, Rocco, David and Mercy.

I’m unsure if she left with any new ones?

But she also brought boyfriend, Jesus Luz.

The only time I remember hearing about someone called Jesus going to a Passover meal was in Jerusalem and that was The Last Supper.

However this relationship seems to have burst through the rocky stages and Madonna will be hoping that this is not to be their Last Supper.
