Paloma Faith becomes a ‘mannequin’ at London’s Selfridges

Outspoken and outlandish Paloma Faith was muted today as she turned up at Selfridges.

Paloma is taking part in a project called ‘Sounds Of The Mind’, where she and ten other music stars will be given free reign to create their own window display.

Paloma gave passersby quite a shock when they saw her in her very own window.

Paloma said: “Ever since I was a child I have always admired the windows at Selfridges. I think they are works of art and such a benchmark for modern design.”

Other stars to create windows include, Dizzee Rascal, Florence and the Machine, and Marina and the Diamonds.

Celebrities around Britain go to the polls

On election day celebrities and ‘normos’ alike all take to the polls to be a part of a democratic election.

Jonathan Ross was up early this morning and voted with his family:

“All those over 18 in the Ross household just voted! Don’t forget to Vote!!”

Claudia Winkleman, who is taking over from Wossy on Film 2010, came up with an ingenious idea on chosing who to vote for:

“Eeny meeny miny moe….”

Whereas popstar Paloma Faith was being ‘part-secretive’ on who she was voting for:

“I just voted.not telling who for but it defo wasn’t tory”

Britain’s Number 1 tennis star, Andy Murray, was just happy to vote for the first time:

“Just voted for the first time. Pumped.”

Popstars Lily Allen and Rochelle Wiseman from The Saturdays were also encouraging others to vote:

Lily Allen was quite open about who she was voting for:

“Come on the reds!”

Rochelle Wiseman: “If you’re old enough please VOTE tomorrow, they’ll only be a change if our generation makes it happen xx”

It has been a very good week for celebrity Gingers with Karen Gillan making a sexy splash onto the new series of Dr Who.

But then again there’s nothing sexy about Keith Lemmon.

If you thought Paloma Faith couldn’t get any more annoying you would be wrong.

She boycotts award ceremonies because she is not nominated, she gets angry if you don’t know who she is, she rants about how hot she is (clearly she hasn’t looked in a mirror lately).

However, she has reached a new level. She ranted on twitter that:

‘i am on a flight to poland with the sugababes.they are in business class.i am not’

You need to have a hit single before your record label will even think about flying you in business…

Paloma Faith will definitely not be attending the Brits this year and will be staying ‘stone cold sober’ tonight.

Snubbed by the awards, she was rather unhappy:

‘I’m not at the brits tomorrow cause I wasn’t nominated so I am going to go out for pancakes instead! HURRAH FOR PANCAKES!‘
