Russell Brand’s, ‘MY BOOKY WOOK 2′ to be released in September

Who would have thought in 2007 when scandalous comedian Russell Brand released an autobiography it would be a world best seller and a hilarious, yet gripping read?

Well due to the above being true, Russell has been working on ‘MY BOOKY WOOK2′.

I remember the podcasts on BBC 6 music where his friends told him that a book with this name would never sell, now there is a second one!

“In the sequel to Russell’s best-selling biography ‘My Booky Wook’ we follow the now sober but still scandalous, sex-fuelled star on his electrifying rise to international fame. A roller coaster ride through tours, films, stand up and tabloids – this time, it’s personal.”

The book is released in the UK on the 30th September.

Russell Brand’s bath-time turns explicit as Helen Mirren gets involved

Russell Brand’s bath time is not like yours or mine.

Russell has posted a photo of himself and Oscar winning actress Helen Mirren, who seems to be giving Russell an explicit wash!

Russell said:

“At last. A bath from Helen Mirren. Never has getting clean been more dirty.”

This is all going down at the filming of 80′s remake Arthur. Whereas Russell’s fiance Katy Perry is down under in Australia missing Russell. The popstar posted this photo and message on her Twitter:

“When ever I get lonely in Sydney I just order the “brand” special.”

Russell finds a Brand new wife

Only a few days after the Teen Choice Awards took place in LA, Russell Brand has gone online to tell the world who the real winner was.

He posted the above photo and said:

“The real winner of the Teen Choice awards is… I AM! I won a fantastic new bride.”

I think his new geeky wife  resembles a pop-star Russell once used to date!

Andrew Sachs still doesn’t talk to his granddaughter

Whenever we talk about Sachsgate, it usually ends in something about Russell Brand or Jonathan Ross bouncing back and landing a job that pays them millions.

However, what has happened to the girl in question? Andrew Sachs’ granddaughter, Georgina Baillie.

Today she has revealed that the relationship between her and her grandfather has not been repaired.

“Unfortunately this whole thing has not really blown over for my grandparents.”

“There’s an occasional email sent but ... I don’t want to cause them any more stress than I already have.”

Georgina went on to say how Russell and Jonathan’s careers have gone from strength to strength, whereas Georgina still finds it hard to land a job!

I don’t think it’s all Russ and Wossy’s fault, I don’t think your grandfather was so happy about the abundance of porno films you made either!

Katy Perry romps a man other than Russell Brand

Katy Perry has released a sneak peak of her new music video ‘Teenage Dream‘.

Perry is seen gyrating and having a good old fondle with a random male model/actor.

You can see them romp in the sea and on her bed.

I wonder what Russell thinks?

Celebrities celebrate prop 8 overturn

Excellent news came out of LA yesterday (no, not Cheryl Cole news), but that Proposition 8 has been overturned (Prop 8 banned same sex marriages).

Celebrities have been celebrating this important overturn.

Lady Gaga tweeted:

“At the moments notice of PROP 8 DEATH I instantly began to write music. BUBBLE DREAMS FOREVER! FULL EQUALITY! THIS IS JUST THE BEGININNG!”

“REJOICE and CELEBRATE gay communities and straight all over the world. Our voices are being heard! Loud! SCREAM LOUD AMERICANOS!”

Paris Hilton wrote:

“What a huge historical day for equal rights in this country! They finally overturned Prop 8! There shouldn’t be a law on true love. ”

Katy Perry wrote:

“I’m celebrating tonight fer me gays. We all deserve to be treated equal. No matter how we like our SEX or with whom.”

And brilliantly, Russell Brand wrote to Katy Perry:

“@katyperry Prop8 dropped! Now you can lose the wig, lipstick and frocks we can wed as a pair of Cali-hunks.”

Russell Brand was snapped today groping Elmo on the streets of New York.

The Seseame Street star describes himself as three and a half years old.

In his defence, Russell said:

“He started it. He tickled me.”

John Mayer covers Katy Perry’s California Gurls

It seems that Russell Brand is not the only one who is to be imitated this year. We announced earlier that Russell is having a waxwork of himself made for London’s Madame Tussauds.

Last week it was Katy Perry who was being imitated by John Mayer.

Mayer, in a private performance for his fans, showed off his skills at covering Katy Perry’s ‘California Gurls‘.

Mayer didn’t really know all the words and after performing said:

“I don’t really know any of the lyrics, but it is interesting when you sing it as a man, cause I have always had a problem about getting sand in my stilettos.”

I want to hear a Mayer version of Hot n’ Cold next!

Russell Brand to be made into a wax-work

Russell Brand is to be honoured with a waxwork at London’s Madame Tussauds.

He has spent the week being measured up so that the waxwork will be as similar as possible to him.

The waxwork is expected to join other famous faces in the A-List Party area of the London attraction in September.

Russell said:

“Now that I’m monogamous I want to live vicariously through wax Russell, I insist that he’s placed next to wax Helen Mirren and I hope they melt into one sexy blob.”

Let’s just hope that they keep the Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross waxworks separate!

I think we can expect Russell to fall in love with his own replica as soon as it’s built.

Russell Brand’s serious accident was not so serious

Russell Brand has revealed that his ‘near fatal’ car crash was really not so bad at all.

The car crash has been described as many different things including, ‘a serious accident’, ‘narrow escape’, ‘Brand battered and bruised after crash’ and simply our favourite from The Mirror, ‘shunted in the rear’.

However Brand has been on his Twitter to tell his fans that they needn’t not worry:

“That Lamborghini crash was hardly Jimmy Dean territory, I barely spilled my espresso.”
