Thierry Henry follows in Beckham’s footsteps and is off to live in The States

The FIFA World Player of the Year (twice) is leaving Barcelona and making the big move over to the US.

Thierry Henry hopes to follow in the footsteps of David Beckham, who went from Madrid to LA.

Henry is not as famous as Becks in the States but is recognized as one of the faces of Gilette alongside Tiger Woods and Roger Federer.

Will this help America finally accept football (soccer) as a main stream sport?

….and more importantly, will Thierry find a nice New York girl to settle down with?

Forbes release their Hollywood top 100 list, but who managed to take the coveted top spot?

The UK may have the Sunday Times Rich List, but the US have the Forbes top 100 Power List.

The list of celebrities is compiled based on earnings and global exposure and is the list every celebrity wishes to get on.

This year Oprah regains her position at top of the list, pushing Angelina Jolie off the top spot and into 18th place. Lady Gaga is the highest newcomer, making her way not only into the top 10, but the top 5. Another newcomer in the list is Twilight heartthrob, Robert Pattinson; he reached number 50.

Surprisingly Simon Cowell was just shy of the top 10, with $80m. Maybe 2010/2011 will be his year as he launches the American X-Factor.

Tiger Woods gets a telling off from his dead father

Have a look at this new Nike advert which sees Tiger Woods get questioned by his dead father.

Yes, I said dead father.

Earl, his father, died in 2006 and asks Tiger:

“Tiger, I am more prone to be inquisitive, to promote discussion. I want to find out what your thinking was.

“I want to find out what your feelings are. And did you learn anything.”

Seems rather creepy having your dead father ask you questions, well still probably better than having an inquisition on Loose women!

Tiger Woods plays nine holes and Elin is nowhere in sight

So my last story about Jesse James and Sandra Bullock, leads me perfectly onto my next subject…

Tiger Woods is back! (to the Golf course that is, his stupid wife took him back months ago).

Yesterday Tiger played 9 holes at the prestigious Augusta Golf Club with friend Mark O’Meara. Today he will have his pre-tournament media conference.

Expect some fiery questions and many apologies!

How well will Tiger do in this competition?

I’m unsure, Elin hasn’t turned up and I don’t know if Tiger will find a way to release his tension this year!

Tiger Woods goes swinging again!

Finally the man is back. Tiger Woods is returning to ‘The Masters’ golf tournament next month.

Since the revelations of his naughty behaviour he hasn’t so much as picked up a club.

But the return is imminent.

Tiger released a statement saying:

“The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect. After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season in Augusta,”

Tiger, Augusta is a golf course, not a girlfriend!

The Marriage Ref: will it end in divorce?

Every so often you hear of a new TV show and you stop and think that is either going to be amazing, or so terrible it will get pulled after the first episode.

The Marriage Ref is one of those shows. The brainchild of usually funny man, Jerry Seinfeld who came up with the concept after having a public fight with his wife, Jessica.

The show involves real life couples who have been fighting for a long time putting their marriage problems to the Marriage Ref. The ref is aided in his decision by the celebrity panel who vote with either the husband or the wife, although the ref doesn’t have to pay any attention to the panel if he doesn’t want to. Which does make you question the point of having a panel?

The show has been mauled by the critics and the initial ratings have been shocking. However I am sure people will tune in to see Madonna attempt to give marriage advice. Although marriage advice from Madonna is a little like getting investment advice from Bernie Madoff!

Who will they get next? How about a panel of Tiger Woods, Ashley Cole and John Terry?

Cheryl Cole and Ashley Cole Officially Split

Cheryl Cole’s PR team have just announced that she is finally divorcing her scumbag husband, Ashley Cole and giving up her WAG status!

Good on you Cheryl. I can’t say I am surprised, it is about time.

Since Elin Woods announced that she will ‘stand by her man‘, Tiger, the Cole divorce could be the news story of 2010.

The legal sharks have already started circling as this promises to be a fabulous divorce battle. Although Cheryl is a millionaire in her own right she could still be entitled to a large chunk of Ashley’s larger, multi-million pound Chelsea pay packet.

John Terry is shaking in his boots as he fears that divorcing a footballer will be the new craze of 2010.

What do the Chinese and Sex Therapists have in common?

As Tiger Woods and his wife head to sex therapy together, it’s not just the Chinese who are celebrating the Year of the Tiger.

There is one sex clinic in the USA, who is celebrating too (and cashing in big time).

It is believed that Tiger’s indiscretions have heightened the profile of all sex clinics in the USA and that women are sending their naughty husbands there!
