David Baddiel admitted this week he was upset that Lord Alan Sugar beat him in a poll of the hottest British Jews.

Speaking about following Sugar on Twitter, Baddiel said: "I'll follow @Lord_Sugar cos of @Wossy, altho when I was voted 6th sexiest Jew in world he came 5th, which took the nachus out of it for me."

Lord Sugar responded: "Yes David Badiel got the hump over that,the criteria used in a jewish survey is not the same when apraising Pitt or Clooney ."

Lily Allen slams David Cameron and claims he makes her vomit

At the GQ Awards last night David Cameron tried his hand at stand up comedy as he accepted the award for Politician of the Year.

"I can bring you the news that Wayne Rooney has scored - this time it was on the pitch, in the opposition's goal and actually playing for his country,"

He went on to thank Sir David Frost, who presented him with the award, by saying:

"We are both the subject of films. Yours was the very successful Frost/Nixon, and mine was of course Brokeback Mountain." In reference to him and Nick Clegg who he shared the award with.

HOWEVER (you wont be surprised by this part), there was one person in the crowd who sat there glum, with a miserable face when DC accepted the award.

Lily Allen even tweeted to show her disapproval: "David Cameron just turned up to pick up politician of the year at GQ. Pass me the bucket, morning sickness is back."

What a lucky child that is going to be, being brought into Lily's 'happy' world!

The XX win big at the Mercury's

Congratulations to The XX who scooped the Mercury Music Award last night at London's Grovesnor House.

They saw off competition from Paul Weller, Dizzee Rascal, and Mumford & Sons.

They walk away with £20,000 in prize money, and winning should help propel them into mainstream culture and they can expect to start playing much larger venues.
